We have had a fun few days around here at the marshalls.
First off, my best friend, brooke, came to visit me.. well mackenzie.. from utah on wednesday. Kenz was a trooper and braved the long ride to tucson and back with me. Dumb me didn't take any pictures of brooke while she was here. lame, i know.
saturday we took brooke back to the airport :( and then kept on heading up to mesa to go visit my good friends Platte and Heather Nielson and their dang cute baby Belle... again, no pictures. lame, i know. again, kenz was was a trooper.
Then while up in mesa we were able to meet up with my aunt and uncle shaw who were in town for spring training. It was a blast. We were able to go to a cousins reunion for people on my dad's side that i haven't seen since i was tiny and didn't remember but still fun to go meet them again and show kenz off!
Also, note to self and others.. don't attempt driving 3.5 hours (which turned into 4.5) starting at 8:30 pm to go from phoenix to douglas with a worn-out-sick-of-her-car-seat- mom-forgot-to-pack-enough-diapers-for-me-i-want-to-be-at-home-baby...
anyway, in other news that invovle me remembering to take pictures. it has been upper 80s here lately and that equals SUMMER JAMMIES for mack.. since i woke up with her the other night and she was dripping sweat... i felt bad.. so here she is modeling her adorable cooler jammies.
Also, i decided to dress her all fancy-like for church in the most adorable dress that my sister so kindly let me borrow...and no worries.. i was a nazi about NO puking and NO pooping while in the dress.. mackenzie obeyed... so it's safe mare:)

it's so funny to see her in all of leah's dresses and jammies. :) now i need to see her in person.
