a little late in posting, but kenzie has been struggling again. Not too bad.. but enough that i haven't had time to sit down and type.
so again, she doesn't really fit this dress, but it's the only green i had.. so she got to wear it and she looked so cute.. i feel that in trying to get a good enough picture, i ended up getting her "irish dance" looking through them all looks like a different dance move in each one.. haha but she's so cute!

and just to say, she is a champ. i had my 6 week check up on wednesday. we left our house at 7:45 am (wow, that was rough for me.. again, she was a champ) she slept for the hour ride up there, the whole 30 minute appt... then the next hour drive up to tucson to the airport so i coudl pick my friend brooke up.. who, yea, came to stay for a few days!!! and still slept the hour back to sierra vista where we met our other friend brittany (hadden) taylor for lunch.. and even slept through most our lunch! yea for kenzie! then slept the next hour on the way home. i was so proud of her. .it was a long day! but sadly, she has been struggling to poop again... i know tmi for some people but whatever. she pushes so hard all day long but usually gets like 5 poops out at night. but she didn't poop for over 24 hours.. i dare say she was pushing 48.. but 3 cheers for kenzie.. SHE POOPED TONIGHT!!!! yeah! i was so proud of her and we cheered and she smiled and was happy too. anyway, that's the exciting news in our home right now:)
She is too cute girl! I love her little $4.00 boots too, I want a pair! HAHA! Hope all is going well for y'all!
ReplyDeleteShe is too cute! I cant believe it has been 6 weeks already.
ReplyDeleteMy niece (who is 3) has been on a medicine called Miralax since birth because she has always struggled with being regular. I know how awful it is when they're all backed up, it's so sad.
ReplyDeleteP.S. She is beautiful! I love the boots too!
My kids struggle with the same thing!! Jose was on Miralax which worked great but I wouldn't recommend it because they become dependent on it and will only go when they have their daily dose... I have since switched to an over the counter fiber (like fiber sure... its none addictive) its a powder mix in. Josie and James both get a daily dose, Josie in her sippy cup and James in his bottle and we never have a problem! It so sad when you have to sit and watch them struggle. Daily fiber was the best advice my pediatrician ever gave!! Good Luck :)
