June

So this was June.

Busy Busy Busy, with lots of sleepy-growing kiddos.

First, we celebrated 7 wonderful years of marriage.
it's been a good 7 years.

nolan turned 11 mos. and decided he could crawl,climb, stand, and cruise furniture like it's his job.
but he also decided he only wants 4 teeth, so we are still awaiting the debut of more.
Favorite foods: hands down quesadillas... avacados... and basically any fruit.

even in the 110 heat we still go on our nightly walks,
 but sometimes clothes are optional {for the kids, obviously}
Nolan lives for these walks and gets so excited when he sees us get the pack out for him.

And we celebrated our favorite papa!

This girl got her first real sewing lesson and was over the moon excited about her very first quilt.
Seriously, she sewed the whole top.
She laid out the pattern, match corners and fed it through the machine
{i pushed the pedal due to her short leg genes}
She even got to use the iron and was very careful and serious about this business.

Then we did this.
a getaway.
no kids.
two nights.
it.  was.  glorious.
we missed the kids, but come on, no parental duties for 48 hours? it was great!
{And the kids had a blast spending time with grandma and grandpa!}

I took Ed to Starr Pass in Tucson, so, not far, but still felt like we were in a different city.
We got to eat good food, sleep in, swim, relax, go on the lazy river {awesome!} get a couples massage {always awesome} then we even got to go shopping for ourselves, go to a movie, and have time alone.
Loved every bit of it!

T-ball.
Bubba's new heaven.
"I love Coach Dad!"
He's beyond thrilled that Ed is his little league coach for t-ball.
and you know what? Bubba is naturally good at baseball, we may have found a winner for what sport he wants to play.  My dad would be proud:)
We had his first game on saturday and he did awesome.
His run from 2nd to 3rd made me smile for days, he was so determined and focused.  I loved watching him play.
