...finally got unpacked enough to get a computer set up to get internet! yay!!
so now for the plethora update from Thanksgiving on....
we had another lovely visit from the fears family right before thanksgiving. We sure do miss them around here. It's nice to be by family... we spent some fun times at the park while the boys worked on the house:) We even got to spend time to celebrate sarah's 30th birthday.
We were blessed again to have the marshalls come for thanksgiving.. however, this year was a little different... living in two places, not really having a huge meal...but margie was awesome and made due with what food i had:) Grandpa helped by giving in to mack begging to play on the play ground. And we were grateful for all the help the marshalls gave us as we moved into our house!
Speaking of house.. a little sneak peak of sorts... or just our living situation since we moved in before it was finished...liveable, yes, but far from done....it's coming.
the kiddos love helping us work.. mack especially likes the painting part.. and e likes anything with tools. we have a make shift bath for the family..complete with plastic on the walls till we get around to tiling it for a shower...again, it's coming... and yes, we live in one room, amid boxes and clutter.. but slowly its getting cleared and put away and becoming our home!
another big happening around here.. little man turned not so little... 18 months!!!!! we've been sick at our house constantly since he had his wonderful croup bought in october. so excuse us if we look a little ghetto in our pictures.. i am not motivated to get ready these days:) but he looks great and is progressing fine.. just working on getting him to say more things rather than grunt or daddy for everything.. the dr was impressed with him understanding a lot more than he verbalizes so she wasn't worried... and now Ed can stop worrying too:)
December is now upon us.. and passing so quickly... i thought my kiddos looked dang adorable in their new christmas outfits so i had to get a photo shoot... mack is getting so big lately and e is just oh so handsome... and i love how much they love each other! they are always hugging!
We went to ed's Borstar Christmas party last week... since he's been on light duty and office work, he was in charge of the party and did and AWESOME job. great food that i wish could be made for me every night and a nice date night with the hubby!... and left just in time for everyone else to get wasted:)
I wanted to do something festive for the holidays and g
et out of the house and a break from finishing it.. so we took the kids to see the Tucson Zoo lights with some friends. it was pretty fun and the kids liked it... they liked playing with their buddy Zoe too. ps... could mack and ed BE any more alike? {see top right corner}
just had to throw in these beauties.. e loves himself some naked time.. and i couldn't resist those chubby cheeks.... they were laughing hysterically rolling on the foam roller!
