lots of new-ish stuff...

Wow, my updates have been few and far between.. so let's play some catch up from my camera...

our "lovely" apartment.  i know i shouldn't complain... but we really don't like apartment living. SUPER hard to go to after living in our own home.  Oh well.. at least we take advantage of having a pool. {master bedroom not pictured because at the time of the photos we were still moving in.. hence the complete mess.. not that it has changed much..}

these were the father's day photos i took of the kids {i didn't get one with ed in them.. what's my deal??}  but it was for his shirt.. i add a picture onto the shirt each year. i used the bottom center one for the shirt.

the pool here is a great way to wear my kids out so they take a long afternoon nap for me... this was e's first time falling asleep somewhere besides his crib... i loved it.  and mack.. she continues to fall asleep in the most random positions...

i also couldn't resist this photo.. i know it looks morbid.. and ed thinks she looks dead and wants me to destroy it.. but mack was talking to me during lunch one day and she dropped her nuggets out of the bowl and got down to pick them up.. i looked over at her and this is what i found. no joke, that fast... and she sleeps like me with her eyes part open so it's kinda even more creepy.. me and e got a good laugh:)

these were from back when we got to go to utah and see grandma hauley!  she had so many fun things like finger puppets, stacking toys, magnetic paper dolls.. oh my kids were in heaven.

4th of july. we didn't do much. got my kids in their red white and blue. we "grilled" hot dogs on the stove and watched fireworks on tv when daddy got home.. and best of all.. witnesses our first Tucson monsoon.. you can't tell in the pictures but we are out on our front porch watching the rain.. the kids were so happy and mack kept saying "ooo it's raining, i LUB the rain. it's my pavorite"

We try to get out and do something on ed's day off.. take advantage of all the things we can actually do now that we are in tucson.  So, we decided to drive up Mt. Lemon.  So glad we did.. it's still kinda a long drive from here, since we pretty much live in Marana {about a 1.5 drive to get there}  but we saw pines! and green!  and the temperature was 67!  oh we didn't wanna leave. we ate at the iron door restaurant which was really good. then we walked around for a bit... then made the drive back down. we didn't want to return to the 30+ higher degree weather once we got back to our house.  good to know we can go somewhere to escape the heat:)
