our latest and greatest...

it's been awhile since we've posted something, but for good reason.. we've been BUSY!!  (and blogger has been lame...)

Anyway, we just went on a vacation for a little bit.. it was great fun.  first we headed up to vegas to go to the utah vs. unlv game.  Ed was pretty pumped to go see his utes play.. he hasn't been to a game in a long time.  So we stayed with my wonderful cousin in vegas (thanks a billion rach!) and got to spend the weekend with her family.  we first went to some buffets.. mack loved them:)

then we went to the game... of course everyone thought mack was a boy... lame people...and i TOLD ed she needed her bow but he refused to let me put it on.  oh well.. she was so good at the game.  inbetween naps (it was a "late" game.. 7 pm start) she would wake up and "cheer" aka happy yell... it was so cute.   sorry fam.. i do own utah clothing.. and not just this shirt....

then mack and i continued our road trip after dropping ed off at the airport (sadly, he had to get back to work)... we went up to utah to surprise my mom.  She just finished her last surgery and was going to have a week off.. so it was perfect timing.  we showed up and she loved the surprise..even if i had to call her to come home from the outlets in park city so mack and i could go in the house:)

we did lots of cleaning with grandma.  she had clothes i swear from before i was born and who in the world knows why she still had them in her closet?!  so we helped her get rid of things.  Mack was on D.I. pile duty and loving it.

we went to my mom's post surgery check up and mack loved the toys the dr. had.  so much she would hardly look at me for a picture. (i got one but she is closing her eyes so this will do)

we got lots of grandshmoj play time.. and loved it.

and became very interested in stairs.. we don't have those at home...

we had lots of fun in utah, i didn't take many pictures.. not sure why, but i appologize for those i didn't tell that i was there. we were keeping it low key so we could spend some relaxing time with my mom.

after a week of fun we started our two day trek home...

we stopped in st. george for treats and park play time...

we made it to vegas.. thanks again uffens!... and got to play with our fun cousins.  and mack just loved standing up and playing with their toys.

Then it was time to start our drive back to douglas.. in what should have taken 7.5 MAYBE 8 hours.. turned into nearly 12 hours.  IT SUCKED!!!!  good thing mack was suprisingly pleasant.

we ran into road work, stupid drivers and this lovely dust storm... that lead to the traffic jam that lead to us not moving for an hour and me finally being able to get off the freeway only to be taken on a deserted dirt road through cotton fields.. luckily it eventually lead back to the free way (after the accident)...and we finally got home!

mack loved when i took breaks cause she got to come play up in the front seat!  i love my travel buddy!
