So. i have been trying to post about halloween for days now, and my pictures haven't been loading. i also have way more, but you will all just have to deal with this one...cause my patience is gone.
Anyway, we got to have lots of fun halloween experiences this year. We went to the Douglas carnival (where this picture was taken) and got to see basically all of Douglas (and some of Mexico) dressed up for halloween...it was really fun, and REALLY cold. Notice mack has a beanie on under her hood.. and like 5 blankets..and scoks, leg warmers, AND pants under her froggie...and when we got home, she was still cold to touch. poor thing.
Anyway, we also went trick or treating at the library. nice Curtis does story time for kids every thursday and after this week's story, he gave them each a bag and let them "trick or treat". Mack got some play-doh and a monster... which she actually loves!
Then on Halloween we decorated a haunted gingerbread house with Callie, Jack and Mitch Everertt. I think Callie and i had the most fun doing it...and Jack just loved eating spoonfuls of the frosting, while Mitch and Mack supervised us all. At night we went to our ward's trunk or treat. Mack came in third for the costume contest. I have to say, she was the cutest frog i ever did see:) Then, we made dinner in a pumpkin and went and share this yummy meal with the everertts.
Sadly ed had to work for all of these fun events, BUT we did go visit him so he got to see us in all our Halloween glory.
Awesome socks, kb.
