look at me...

man i am doing good with the updates.

we have been having a struggle lately of kenz HATING her crib.. we have tried putting her down awake, rocking her to sleep then putting her down.. waiting till she has slept and hour then put her down...not matter what within 2 minutes of laying her down in her crib.. she lets you know how bad she hates it. Now come night time, this is harder to handle. i lay down for about 20 minutes and she's bawling again... so weak me gives up real quick and just takes her to the couch with me so we can get 4-5 hours of sleep at a time. but today, as i type this blog, she has been in her crib for an hour...i am trying to be strong cause she has been screaming at me for about 3/4 that time...hopefully it gets better each day...

anyway, here are some cute pictures of happy kenz yesterday...

she loves to pose with her hands.. they are always at her face...

yesterday, i had to run a quick errand in the morning, so i packed mackenzie up and off we went. good thing she loves her car seat cause she went right to sleep. we got home and she was still sound asleep so i left her in her car seat.. she slept in there for almost 3 hours! yea! i got so much done! but her whole sleep you just heard her pooping away in her pants.. but i figure, it's not waking her up so i will change her when she really wakes up...that time came and this is what i found...

happy as can be... with brown ALL over!

yummy kenz.

i felt bad that i let her sit in all that, it was ALL over her back, legs, and belly.. but she was so happy... i would be too if i had been struggling for days to get all that out!

so we jumped in the bath and got it all cleaned up and still.. happy as can be:)

we tried to get her to look but she's not fond of the camera sometimes.

  1. Kel, Nora HATED her crib, too. And her cradle. But, eventually, she slept in it just fine (3 months eventually!). So hang in there! Our girls have both been car seat sleepers at the start, too. She is so cute! And I think every single one of Sophie's onesies is poop stained.

  2. My kids actually never used their crib. My newborns loved the carseat too, so they slept in that. When they were too big, we just graduated them to mattress on the floor of their room. It worked for us. :-) When you have a little one who is fussy...just do what works. Mom and Dad need sleep too. Nice poop! :-)

  3. my kids wouldn't sleep in their crib or bassinet... i think they didn't like flat surfaces because of a little reflux or tummy trouble. in the beginning, it's all about doing what works. both my kids slept in their carseat or bouncer for a couple of months.

try gripe water for her tummy. it's all natural and it supposed to work wonders for colick.

good luck! she is such a cute baby!
