Declan turns two.

Big D. Declan.
My rough and tumble boy, is now TWO!
It's a good thing he probably won't remember the day, he was not feeling well at all.  Croup was going around our home and thankfully, he just got the cold part, but it was a bad one.  He was miserable, but still partied hard.
He celebrated his big #2 in California, first at his Uncle Dan's house, then at his Uncle Daniel's house.  It was fun to be surrounded by family!
 Declan is in love with his blanket.  it's been shredded and fixed and its paper thin, but he still carts that thing all over the house {not allowed to leave, unless we are on vacation, of course}
 He helped me frost his cupcakes for all to enjoy.
Which, with cream cheese frosting, how can you not enjoy a funfetti cupcake? {okay, so funfetti icing would have been ideal, but that is not longer being made... how rude!}
 Declan is now a whopping 30 lbs {80th percentile} heavy weight status that he is not shy about using to his advantage in a fight:)
He's starting to stretch taller at 35 inches {65th percentile}
Declan is starting to get many more words in his vocabulary, most of which the general public can understand! {YAY!}
He loves firetrucks, tractors, trains, planes, helicopters, getting dirty, playing in the mud, working in the yard, playing in water, eating anything and everything, and loves no one in this world more than his Dah-Dee. {Dad}
He is currently potty training and, although it's not as simple as it was to train little e, Declan is doing pretty great.  Fantastic, i'd even say on going pee... poop, now that's a work in progress.  He only wears pull-ups at night, but has had no accidents at nap time!  We will get there in time... just needs to really understand the difference between "NO" and "YES" and we are golden!
We love you big d, more than you know.  You are our hazel eyed, one-sided dimple, sweetheart of a rough boy.  Even though you beat mommy up most days, I still adore you!  Hope year two is fantastic!
