6 and 7 mos catch up...

So, i'm not going into detail on what all my summer has entailed.  I got behind on blogging, so be it.  These pictures will recap what i was up to for the last few months.

We were lucky enough to be able to head to california from July 6th to August 7th.  We had a blast playing with cousins and escaping the Arizona heat, and were even welcomed by Mr. M being able to join us for the last week of our stay.  He got his hardware removed from his leg and is walking/doing great. Mack was in heaven with all her cousins and ALWAYS having someone to play with.  E was awesome and decided to move up in the world of big kids and be potty trained.  I used the 3 day potty training method, recommended to me by my SIL, Laura, and it worked!  Okay, so it took 4 days but that's cause i was lazy with it.  But seriously... no pull ups at all and he is trained for day, nap and night.. all at once!  and even made a 13 hour car ride with no accidents!  YA BUBS!

D turned 6 months old while we were out there...and boy was he happy about it.
Our little rollie pollie ham now:
weighs: 20 # 4 oz
height: 27.5 inches
head: 18 inches {he's got a big noggin'}
he still is not rolling over, or crawling, or sleeping through the night, or any of that fun stuff, but hey, we are on vacation.

Next we made the long trip up to Utah to be able to meet miss KTG aka Katers aka katapotomus aka kate jensen layton.  it was well worth the trip!  Man i love that little girl and i didn't even get to spend enough time with her.  and bonus, we got to spend time with her momma and her big sister too!

Next we came home... man was our home boring for the kids compared to the months of cousin packed time they had been used to.  at least they are cute when bored.

Now, d has turned 7 months.  He can roll over now! and he got his first...and second teeth.  sporting the teethy grin on the bottom now.  he also sleeps through the night now {by force, but it didn't take too much convincing}

He's still big and chunky and cuddly and smiley and just such a fun little baby.  He eats anything and everything.  He's already bored {after a month} of eating baby food that he pretty much just eats my meals with me as long as it's small enough he'll chow down.

{his 7 mos happened to coincide with the utes first game day.. hence the red gear}
