As per request, a Mack update. You're welcome, mare;)
Mack is 3 going on 16. Seriously I hope these troubled year disappear before teens hit. Let's be honest, Mack is spoiled and pretty high maintenance. I seriously don't know where she gets it from cause I am not a high maintenance girly girl! Oh well, she's cute...most the time;)
She is talkin like a grown up and that makes for some awesome conversations.
When Declan is sleeping she exclaims " mom! He's totally dead!"
When he's awake she gets in his face and "baby" talks.."oh dec-a-Lynn, you're getting such a big boy! You're such a cutie boy!"
I wish I could say she loves her other brother as much....
We were in the grocery store and she YELLED at me to stop. I, thinking she wanted her flip flop strap fixed for the umpteenth time, snapped at her, "why?!" then Mack proceeded to spin a 360..." so I can twirl mom!". Yes, princess.
Also she is beginning to refuse anything but skirts or dresses. Luckily I can get use out of all her clothes by telling her she can't wear the twirly dresses till they are clean and I just wait on her laundry:). But one day he was in a dress. Came out in underwear, I thought she had just gone potty cause she tends to strip to do so, and she asked for help to put her church dress on. I said no since it was 6 pm she was headed outside for her last playtime before bath and bed. She proceeded to BAWL! I asked what the big deal was and why her current dress didnt work. "it doesn't TWIRL, mom!"
Mack and twirling, she's obsessed.
She's getting so smart each day. We do a sort of preschool. My sad attempt at least, but she loves it. She's getting good at letter sounds and figuring out what words start with. We are working on writing her letters. She's actually really good and can write c, g, and e on her own ( maybe more that's just what she wrote today) and she can draw some of her numbers.
Sorry if one finds this offensive, but she came to me yesterday, tugging at the sides of her eyes and said, "look mom, I'm china!" ;) we had to show uncle Ryan that one;)
She's still very emotional and always has an owie that needs to be fixed with a bandaid...I guess I should enjoy the tenderness since my boys are rough and well, boys;).
She's getting braver and getting more confidence to do anything. She's a little entertainer for sure and loves doing "big girl" things!
We may butt heads (a lot) but I love my little buddy who can make me laugh mid scolding;).
Now pictures of a little Mack lately..

So happy you wrote all these down. She may be a girly girl, unlike you...but in nearly every other way, she is so much like you it's crazy!
