all things declan...

..HE is here!!!  yup HE!  it's a boy! {and our ultrasound picture that has been in an envelope for months was exactly right.. with a clear shot of the family jewels:)}

I was set up with my induction date at my 38 week appt for the first date that it was legally allowed for my doctor to schedule {didn't even have to beg or ask.. she just did it cause she's awesome!}  anyway, so January 30th it was.  39 weeks.

We had awesome neighbors who were willing to watch kiddos for the time needed so me and ed could welcome the new addition.  We woke up, took e to get his stitches out and told his Pediatrician we'd see him the next day with the new one:)

I was dropped off at the hospital to check in while ed dropped the kids off at the Judds.  They were running behind and i was kinda anxious so the waiting room was annoying.  I got in finally around 10:15ish... and was saddened to hear my dr. was NOT going to break my water right away.. she had forgotten i was GBS + and needed the antibiotics first.  So i called ed and told him to go do whatever he wanted for the FOUR hours i had to wait!  

I got all set up, anitbiotics in and took a little nap.  i told the nurse i didn't want pit till closer to water breaking time.. she thought i was kinda weird but then when she hooked me up and said it takes about an hour to kick in on the low dosage she started me on.. and it really worked on me in 10 minutes.. she then realized why i had asked to wait:)  my dr got stuck in a surgery so i had to wait an hour to get my water broken.  Ed arrived.  2:15 my water was broken.  I was a 5 and 90%...at 2:40 i started pushing at a 10:)... 

2:45pm... we were greeted with a healthy {HUGE to me} baby BOY!
