So i found these first pictures on my camera....ed thought it was funny to see me feeding e on the table.. so he took some cute shots of our little man... then later that day, i found ed playing in the kids room and walked in to see the following pictures of ed tickling them and both kids laughing so hard!
on to the utah trip....we ended up leaving a few days earlier than planned and not really how we planned. tuesday night, ed got a call that one of his best friends from high school had died. So we immediately called his work, got him a few more days off and bought him a ticket to CA to attend the funeral. We decided since we were already planning on driving to utah, we would just split the kids up so i didn't have to drive 15 hours alone with both:) I asked him to take mack and i took little man. worked out great. mack was still free cause she hadn't turned two yet and she had a blast playing with grandma and grandpa marshall and i hear she was fantastic at the funeral. Little man was a champ on our car ride and we got to stop in vegas and stay with the uffens for a night {thanks rach and mike! we miss you guys!} that meant, i got to go up early and spend some time with my shmoj {aka my mom!} we had a blast and it was a great visit. Friday ed flew in with his parents and we picked them up and headed to springville for all the utah fun festivities:)
we did lots, including:
Alyssa May Fears being baptized
mack's 2nd birthday
cousin play time
visiting college roommates
seeing snow fall
playing in the snow and throwing snow balls
being freezing {and loving every minute of it}
getting craft supplies {that are non existent in douglas}
having some fun adult time while the kids were babysat {by the way, katie and bracken were awesome! they even got mack to go down to sleep.. WE can't even do that all the time! haha}
a little Wii Just dance nights {even kids wii dance that mack got in on the action}
surprise baby shower for sarah {my sil}
and a lovely 15 hour drive home {in one day} in which the kids were FANTASTIC!
