braids and backyardigans...

 Mackenzie is growing up so fast everyday.  she does cute new things and is so funny to be around {now that she's not puking and eating again:) }
A few things our 20 month old LOVES to do:
She l.o.v.e.s. her baby.  she feeds her {nursing, no joke.}, diapers her, brushes her teeth, wipes her face-hands-bum-whatever is dirty at the moment, does her hair, plays games with her {tickle, toss in air, plays bicycle with her legs}, puts her down for naps and bed...pretty much anything i do with E, mack will go run to her baby and repeat {she SCREAMS.."OH NO! BABY!" when she is trying to find her.}

she still loves dancing, and has new moves daily

she answers "No" to everything.

she is starting to put more words together in phrases, which is nice to know {sorta} what she is asking for or talking about.

she went poop in her toilet {tmi?} she was so scared she pooped more. it was sad, but funny.  bad thing is, now she is terrified to sit on her toilet bare bum...but she sits on it in clothes all day long.. and even peed her big girl panties on it today cause ed didn't think it mattered as long as she was on the toilet...oh boy, let's not start the habit of it being okay to pee your pants.

she's saying more words like "binkie' when E is missing his, or "gamma" and "gampa" when we call our parents.  She also says "leah beah" {a personal favorite} and she knows who her aunt "cass-dee" is. {thank you skype}

she makes this awesome face i have yet to capture on film but pulls it when she's dancing the robot.. yes, she break dances, no i did not teach her...but do encourage it:)

anyway, she is at a point where she hates how i do her hair, no matter what.  she will sit and let me do it but will rip it out about 5 minutes later.  she hates clips, but needs them cause her unruly bangs cloud her face and she gets frustrated when they are in the way but won't keep a clip in.  oh well, i will keep trying. my latest is trying to braid her hair. it's so paper thin that for a horrible hair-doer such as myself, it's extremely hard for me.  to top it off, the girl can't sit still.. but i tried and so far, she hasn't tried to yank it out at all and the day is half over!...
 not my best attempt, i had to do a backwards braid to even be able to keep it in.. but oh well, i'll get better with practice.
our day is filled with much backyardigans. now maybe this makes me a bad mom, but it makes mack happy.. and let's me get some things done around the house now that she has decided she will pick and choose when she will take a nap {if she naps at all}  so this is her, as of 5 minutes ago, nicely watching her yardigans...

can she BE any cuter??
downside, i've had  "into the deep we travel...." or " pablonator, that's my robot name" or "racing day, it's racing day" or... i could go on with many songs that i have running through my head.. all day long.
