on one of ed's days off this week, we ventured up to sierra vista with some friends to go to "the cove" aka sierra vista's rec center. This was little e's official first time swimming...we actually got him in the water and he loved it, so much so he fell asleep. :) and mack of course LOVED it. she esp loved the slide.
for some live action see the next post... don't mind the bobble, i almost dropped the camera in the water...{and some bonus mack ugly dancing.. video kinda long..}
and a little late, but mack turned 18 months at the beginning of august. But we just were able to get her in for her visit this past week. We were geared up for her last shots (till she's 4 or something) and we went and found out it hadn't been 6 months since she got her last ones, SO we have to wait till september to get them for her. :(
her hair looks awesome because she rubbed ranch in it right before we left, then broke one of the rubber bands so i moved the one piggy to a pony tail, then that one broke so we took it out and went for the "half-rufio" look :) then i barely missed it on the camera but she fell asleep in the car while eating a mango...
18 month stats...
22 lbs
30 inches tall
mack knows lots of words now and is SO cute when she says them including {but i'm sure i'm forgetting some} thank you, more, ball, mommy, daddy, hi, buddy, tubby, popcicle, salsa, hi, bye, leah, maren, ellie, eat, brother, doggy, kitty, please, sorry....i can't think of the others right now
she is very good at sign language and getting objects when we ask her for them
she still loves the water, in any form.. to drink or play in.
she runs all over the house and tries to jump. is a great marcher and an even better ugly dancer
she knows the actions to itsy bitsy spider, book of mormon stories, popcorn popping and this little piggy...she loves showing people too.
we just love our little mack!

she is so cute! you forgot the "Oh no" that she says that is so cute!- she is still small huh- but so cute! I love her hair in a pony tail it makes her look so grown up
ReplyDeleteI haven't heard her say it but i'm pretty sure my favorite of her words is "salsa". Has the border turned her into a Mexican food junkie?
