independence day...

we had a nice relaxing 4th.  really we were just celebrating my half birthday with food and fireworks:)

i took the kids to church {ed had to work}  they looked ADORABLE!  as you can see. my mom made mackenzie her dress and i can't count how many compliments she got.  thanks shmoj! and e happened to have those clothes from shower gifts!  yay! {good thing he is chunky and can fit 3-6 month clothes!}

after church, we had our friends, the everett's, over for cafe rio dinner, swimming, and fireworks.  the kids had a blast and wore each other out {and all slept great that night!}
