So i know it's lame to keep taking pictures... ed thinks so too. BUT he so kindly allows me to for baby book's sake. So here is 40 weeks.. my due date.. June 11, 2010. SO glad e came two weeks early!
e's cord FINALLY fell off {mack's fell off much quicker... e's was driving me nuts cause it was dangling for days and i thought i was going to snag it or rip it when feeding/changing him and was nervous for it if it bled..}anyway, so e got his first real bath. we have to find the famous rubber ducky that we bathed mack it, but for now, he gets dunked in the bath.. hated it as much as mack did at first:) hopefully he'll learn to love it and become a little fish as well.
me and ed are so happy that we each have a child that looks like us.. people acutally call mack a mini ed down here... i wonder why....:)
now this isn't the best picture but if e would keep his eyes open for a flash.. then i'll post a better one, but e is my mini me:) {yes i know i look ghostly white, yes i have rings under my eyes.. and yes it is partly cause i am tired, BUT mostly it's just the same rings i have had since i was little...}
Today i attempted to go to church with two kids, all by myself... that was a funny joke. I got everyone all ready really early so i wouldn't be running around before church. mack even let me put her hair in piggies.
e looked dashing in his first little polo shirt... even decided to flash a peace sign for everyone...
and then got annoyed i was still flashing the camera and started to fuss.
mack decided to fall asleep at 8:45 for her nap... so she got robbed of a morning nap when i woke her up an hour later to leave. then she was nicely playing all sacrament...but decided shaking the car seat was a fun game and woke e up. so i took him out and played with him while he so kindly crapped his pants for about ten minutes straight. I asked my friend to watch mack while i went to change him.. i came back and mack had crapped her pants.. awesome. thankfully we only had the closing prayer to go by then. i put e back in his car seat and he FREAKED out when i put one arm in... made me look like a liar when i say he hardly cries. haha really, he's a quite kid, but he let his lungs be known during the closing prayer.. oh well. we got mack changed after the prayer and headed home. i was exhausted. Hopefully ed will be able to get some sunday's off to help me out:)
I'm sad I missed ralph's first bath, but glad that cord finally came off.
ReplyDeleteyou are so brave- i would not have gone to church without Shawn, i would be scared. Ellie cries when i put her in her car seat too its crazy and makes me look like I'm torturing her, but then she falls asleep in minutes and all is well. little e's shoes are soooo cute! did you buy them and where? thats so cute how e looks exactly like you- I cant wait for our next kid so she can look like me.
