I have been slacking on my postings of the other most important person in my life.. edward. He has been working so hard ever since we bought this house to make it look good. Here are some of the many projects (by far not all of them) that he has finished so far on the house...

railroad ties are NOT light.. and the ground is NOT soft... he lifted them all one by one and dug those holes to drop the vertical ones in about 4-5 feet deep...yeah, he's got some muscles!!!

I don't have a before...he made these planter boxes...one in front, and one on the side of our house...
These are just a few of what he has been doing. He has also planted a patch of grass (yea for the color green!!!) and it's well on its way to growing, made a dog house for connor, started digging trenches for our fence, made a tool bench in the garage, changed out the corners of our door frames (hard to explain but he is making them look WAY better), he also has made a 3 foot high fence out of railroad ties around the front of our yard to keep the dang neighbor dogs out of our yard...i don't have pictures of that yet, but will post when i do...not to mention all the hard work he did on the nursery, garage, and bathrooms...his list just keeps on going.
man i love having a handy man to work around the house!
very fun. those would have been fun projects to help you out with. if only we lived in douglas...wait...no, if only you lived here. :)
