So i feel bad that i didn't give Ed a very fun birthday, but really, this is Douglas...there is NOTHING to do. So, we celebrated Ed's birthday on thursday because he had work off. We went up to Sierra Vista and went to the "big stores" you know, they actually have a target, lowes, carls jr...etc. Then I had a doctors appointment.. which was SUPPOSED to be the ultrasound, hence the reason i brought ed with me.. but no.. i don't wanna get into it, but it was just another 5 minute one where ed was very bored.. let's be honest, i was too. So we just went home afterwards.
On his actual birthday, the 26th.. he had to work... so i didn't see him for long. But he claims his birthday was good. he got some new coins, and some more railroad ties to finish his retaining wall.

i know you can't really tell but this is the border.. this is the fence.. and the random dirt road.. brilliantly named "border road" that we drove back from bisbee to douglas when getting his railroad ties. Pretty sure we saw someone jump the fence back to mexico and ditch their car cause they saw us coming down the road.
so excited to be driving so close to mexico.....
