Polynesian Cultural Center...

We were able to get tickets to the PCC and go spend a day visiting all the villages, the temple, the luau, and the horizons show...(thanks margie!!!) It was really neat to go see everything. Sorry there are loads of pictures, but i couldn't choose just one!

The horizons show.

The fire dancer, him in person...wanting everyone to "buy my paintings!" he was hilarious, by far our favorite guy there! then aotearoa is a shout out to my dad.. it is New Zealand. One day we will really go there!!!

Ed trying out the stick-spear tossing contest.. he got the closest! Us at the Luau and Ed showing the wonderful food we had at the Luau. We sat by some Australians and some Russians... we had some interesting conversations.

More villages...and the statue is from marquesas...

the canoe show.. .where all the villages come out on canoes and do dances and float down the river for all to see.

Ine each village, you could go do activities, buy things native to that country, and you just learned more about each place and the people there. In samoa we learned a drum song and then also we did weaving... we made fish. these are our fish...then before we left.. .we planted them in the soil (bottom left picture).. they were cool, but we were sick of carrying them. The boat is from New Zealand.

More villages, and New Zealand art work.

The entrance, the cool samoan dude... and him and his buddy climbing the tree to get a coconut.
